Biography

Educated at Nalanda Vidyalaya Colombo and obtained a B.Sc. Special degree in Botany from the University of Kelaniya in 1977. I have been attached to Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine since 1978. Takes part in popularization of science activities of SLAAS from 1994 and is coordinating the nature diaries program from 2000. My hobby is cultivation of coconut, pepper and fruits in a commercial scale in Kurunegala. Married to a senior Attorney at Law attached to the Bank of Ceylon and have a daughter attending Museaus College.
