Received primary and secondaray education at Royal Junior School and Royal College, Colombo.

 

Qualified from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka

 

Passed the Final MBBS examination with Second Class (Upper Division) Honours with a distinction in Paediatrics and was awarded Professor Rajasooriya Prize in Clinical Medicine.

 

Currently, holds the Chair in Surgery in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka
