Planetary health recognizes the intrinsic link between human well-being and the health of our planet’s ecosystems. Declining environmental health, driven by factors like climate change and biodiversity loss, directly threatens human health and societal stability. The University of Colombo proposes a Centre for Planetary Health to address these interconnected challenges through research, education, and collaborative action. This Centre will create a new generation of leaders to address these challenges.
