Project Pura Sobha aims to revitalize and preserve the road islands close to the UCFM, transforming neglected spaces into thriving ecosystems. This initiative fosters biodiversity by creating habitats for butterflies and other pollinators, enhancing the natural beauty. By engaging students and the community, Project Pura Sobha promotes environmental awareness and education, highlighting the crucial role of pollinators in our ecosystem. Ultimately, this project creates a tranquil and educational green space, contributing to a healthier and more sustainable campus environment.

The “Rescue Mission: Planet Earth,” a Pre-congress Planetary Health Hackathon organised alongside the Colombo Medical Congress, was organised to cultivate a new generation of problem-solvers. This hackathon aimed to develop a Planetary Health Workforce equipped to analyse the complex interactions between human, animal, and environmental health.
