Engaging in and completing postgraduate studies is increasingly becoming difficult and stressful, especially in the wake of the major socio-economic changes occurring over the past years, following the global COVID-19 pandemic. Networking and collaboration among postgraduate students will help to sustain their motivation and enable them to support each other during these difficult times.
Creating a society for postgraduate students will enable a platform for them to socialize and foster friendships and collaboration, as well as share their research experiences and skills, which can help improve their research experience and outputs, as well as promote their well-being. Further, they could develop and expand their networks and collaborations within the Faculty and University, which would be mutually beneficial in the longer term.
