106th Law-Medical Encounter – Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo – Overall Champions
106th Law-Medical Encounter was successfully held throughout the months of July and August at the University of Colombo premises. Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo emerged as the Overall Champions of the Law-Medical encounter winning 12 sports out of 21. Hockey Men and Women and Women’s Tap Rugby was introduced as exhibition matches this time. Following are the Championships , the Ceylon Medical College managed to secure.

The Closing Ceremony was graced by Mr. Lushan Pushparaj ,a renowned sports personality of the country as the Chief guest. This encounter was organized by the Medical Faculty Sports Association, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo and the Law College Students’ Union.
Following this crushing triumph the president and secretary of the sports association with the captains/representatives of the winning sports handed over the trophies to the faculty in a small ceremony at the faculty board. The trophies were received by the dean.
