Undergraduate students, both medical and non-medical, will have the chance to observe the investigation and management of respiratory diseases within a clinical or outpatient setting, complementing their regular hospital appointments. They will witness the collaboration among different departments in managing conditions related to the respiratory system.
Training will be provided for MD and Diploma trainees across various disciplines, including Senior Registrars in Respiratory Medicine, trainees of the Diploma in Tuberculosis and Chest Diseases, and trainees of the Diploma in Physiology.
Research opportunities in respiratory medicine and physiology are available for both undergraduates and postgraduates, encompassing a broad range of aspects and in collaboration with diverse fields and institutions, both locally and internationally.
Workshops aimed at enhancing skills in cardiopulmonary function testing, interventional procedures, thoracic ultrasound, and sleep medicine, as well as management in respiratory medicine, can be arranged with the involvement of both national and international faculty members as required.
