Workshop: Neuroplasticity Principles in Stroke Rehabilitation | 09.09.2026
A free workshop on “Neuroplasticity Principles in Stroke Rehabilitation” was successfully conducted on 9th September 2026 at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, as part of Movement Matters | Colombo Physiotherapy Week 2026.
The workshop brought together 40 practicing physiotherapists and final-year physiotherapy undergraduates, providing an opportunity to enhance knowledge and clinical understanding of neuroplasticity and its application in stroke rehabilitation.
The programme included both theoretical and practical learning activities, with a focus on translating neuroplasticity principles into clinical practice.
The workshop was funded by the CAPAGE Erasmus+ Project and organized by the Centre for Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, in collaboration with the Physiotherapy Students’ Welfare Society, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo.
