At present, the library collection consists of approximately 40,000 books and Journals, access to several reputed electronic databases and, an annual subscription of local & international journals. The medical library plays a critically important role in supporting research within the university and offer a range of services to undergraduate and postgraduate students, staff members, researchers and other professionals.

The Library works as the National Focal point Library of Health Literature Libraries and Information Services (HELLIS) network and provides services to all health and medical sciences professionals and para-professionals in the country, as well as in South East Asian region.
