Colombo Medical Congress 2023
The Colombo Medical Congress (CMC) 2023, a prestigious international gathering, was recently convened under the auspices of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo. In collaboration with the Colombo Medical School Alumni Association (CoMSAA), this annual event symbolized the seamless synergy between academic excellence and alumni dedication.
Themed “Research Excellence & Beyond: Translating Research into Practice,” the congress served as a dynamic platform for the exchange of groundbreaking ideas and innovative research findings. Held from December 4th to 8th, 2023, at the UCFM Tower, the event not only showcased academic presentations but also featured a diverse array of non-academic and student-centered activities.
With a focus on bridging the gap between research and practical application, the CMC 2023 underscored the pivotal role of collaboration and knowledge translation in advancing medical science and healthcare delivery.
